Split your overlay into scenes and link them directly to OBS for automatic switching.

Ship Week Day 2

A new update every day — here's what's new today.

Overlay Scenes

Split your overlay into scenes — just like in OBS — and build more complex formats with different views. Whether it's Just Chatting, Gameplay, or a Break Screen: each scene has its own layout, its own layers, and can be designed independently.

Scenes make it possible to use a single overlay for your entire stream instead of creating multiple overlays for different situations.

What you can do with scenes

  • Different views for different stream situations within one overlay
  • Dedicated layers per scene — show what you need, hide the rest
  • Quick switching between scenes directly in the editor or live on stream

Scene Mapper

The Scene Mapper links your scenes directly to OBS for automatic switching. When you switch scenes in OBS, Vision automatically switches the matching overlay scene — no manual intervention needed.

Or create a separate scene per connection with its own layout. That way each OBS instance connected to the overlay can show a different view.

How it works

  1. Create scenes — add as many scenes as you need in the editor
  2. Link to OBS — map each scene to an OBS scene
  3. Auto-switch — Vision detects the scene change in OBS and updates the overlay

More to come

Stay tuned — another update drops tomorrow.
